After several sleepless nights, the Call of Duty: Black Ops code has been cracked! Wait, what? Yes, unbeknownst to many, Treyarch has hidden a secret message within Black Ops.  According to  Maverick10 this hidden code appears in the mission briefings at the bottom left of the screen before every level in Black Ops.

Call of Duty fans are sure to find this interesting if they can get past the over the top delivery of self-proclaimed cracker, Maverick10. Check out the video below:

A lot of people are rolling their eyes and complaining about this guy’s cockiness and how annoying he is. Honestly, it is hard not to feel that way at first, but maybe Maverick10 should be cut some slack. He has repeatedly said that the whole thing is an act. For goodness' sake, watch his other video. He is obviously hamming it up for the camera.

Regardless of the guy personally, his find is quite interesting. While the code itself is pretty simple and definitely doesn’t require a PS3 supercomputer to decipher, he deserves recognition for being the first to solve it. Being the first person to find a secret in any game is impressive, but especially when the game is as popular as Black Ops, which recently topped the Xbox LIVE activity chart.

Props to Maverick10 for finding this Easter egg and sharing it with everybody. Perhaps, the code will be explained more in the next installment of Call of Duty.

What do you think of Maverick10 and his Black Ops secret code? Do easter eggs like this encourage you to delve deeper into your favorite gaming worlds?
