Devolver Digital is once again holding a summer livestream event in which it will showcase its upcoming games, as if E3 was never canceled. While summer 2020 has proven unconventional when it comes to game announcements and events, gamers can still rely on Devolver to deliver. The Devolver Direct event starts at noon PT/3:00 pm ET, meaning it starts relatively soon, so it's best to know exactly how to watch what's certain to be another memorable gaming industry event.

Devolver Digital is keeping things simple for its Devolver Direct, at least compared to many other publishers' livestreams. The event will be broadcast on both Devolver Digital's Twitch page at Twitch.tv/DevolverDigital and its YouTube page at Youtube.com/user/DevolverDigital. Twitch is also highlighting the Devolver Direct via its own gaming channel at Twitch.tv/TwitchGaming, which should help reach a broader audience.

Fair warning, Devolver Digital's presentation is likely to be absolutely insane. Previous years have involved highly satirical skits and segments involving an extreme amount of blood and gore. The first Devolver Direct didn't even involve any gameplay or announcements. And while Devolver has promised plenty of gaming news this year, it's certain to also feature Devolver's brand of dementedness, too.

This year Devolver has already gone so far as to confirm some of the announcements planned for its Devolver Direct broadcast. To start, Flying Wild Hog is going to debut gameplay for Shadow Warrior 3. Shadow Warrior 3 was only just announced with a teaser trailer this past week, making it likely to be one of the broadcast's featured games. The violent and darkly funny FPS sequel is a fitting Devolver product.

Also confirmed is the cartoonishly violent massively multiplayer party game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. The developers at Mediatonic have already confirmed that Fall Guys' release date will be revealed at today's Devolver Digital event, but hopefully the team has some exciting new gameplay to share as well.

Other games that may be featured today include Serious Sam 4, The Thing-esque horror game Carrion, Awesomenauts developer Romino Games' new title Blightbound, and several others as well. When it comes to surprises, the Devolver Direct livestream never fails to deliver.
