The future is now. Deus Ex: Human Revolution releases to retail today and Eidos Montreal has made the launch trailer available for all to see. Gamers can get themselves ready to enjoy a cyberpunk-inspired, conspiracy-laden, action role playing game by watching the trailer - and maybe even picking up the game shortly after.

In fact, this might just be the trigger point for you.

There's very little disagreement with the fact that Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a good game. Many early reviews featured within the trailer are lavishing pretty positive praise. Our own review will be up shortly - but early reactions from our staff indicate that we're going to deliver a mostly positive review. So what will Human Revolution offer to pique your interest? Is it the conspiracy laden story? Adam Jensen's quest for revenge? Or maybe the multiple avenues of approach for a particular mission? Maybe it's because you can finish the game without killing anyone at all - and relying on charm and wit?

Whatever reason you need to investigate Deus Ex: Human Revolution, you might just find it within the launch trailer that showcases many of the game's signature takedowns and various story elements.

Seriously, if that's not enough to get you really interested in the game, what is? Maybe, the fact that there are elbow grenades in Deus Ex: Human Revolution - and you'd be hard pressed to think of any other games with elbow grenades in them. Sure, you might not use the feature on a regular basis but, needless to say, it's still pretty awesome.

Jokes aside, Human Revolution does feature some important social commentary as well: what happens when the line between humanity and technology starts to blur? What kind of consequences can we expect? What kind of benefits? All these questions can be answered if you pick up a copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution today.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is out now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and OnLive.
