Xur Items Oct 31

Don't panic Destiny players; Xur has not taken a vacation for the Halloween weekend. He was just a little later than normal when showing up in the Tower.

For a little bit there, it seemed like Bungie might be pulling the plug on Xur, which wouldn't be too surprising considering he's starting to duplicate items, but alas the Agent of the Nine did make an appearance. And once again, Game Rant has all you need to know to find Xur and what items he has for sale over the weekend.

This weekend, Xur has drifted slightly south and can be found right next to the Crucible Quartermaster responsible for selling weapons. Early Destiny players will recognize this as the spot Xur appeared in during the very first weekend. Perhaps he is running out of spots, or maybe he just really enjoys being close to the Vanguards.

Either way, Xur's selection is another case of repeats on the armor front. In some cases for the third week in a row! For weapons, though, he has the very useful Patience and Time Sniper Rifle, which will likely be a camper's best friend. That's because, Patience and Time activates a cloak anytime the player is aiming down the scope.

So, for those who may have missed out on Icebreaker a few weeks back, Xur has returned with a Sniper Rifle that has its own unique benefits. Granted, players will still have to scavenge around for ammo, but once they're locked and loaded they will have a huge advantage.

Here's the full rundown of Xur's items this week:

  • The Armamentarium (Titan Chest Armor) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Lucky Raspberry (Hunter Chest Armor) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Voidfang Vestments (Warlock Chest Armor) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Patience and Time (Sniper Rifle) – 17 Strange Coins
  • Exotic Helmet Engram – 23 Motes of Light
  • Flight of Shadows (Consumable) - 1 Strange Coin

There were some rumors earlier this week that Xur might also sell some of the Halloween-themed items, and it turns out those are partially true. If you wear the Jackolyte helmet while browsing Xur's selection, you can buy the Flight of Shadows consumable, which gives players a unique respawn animation.

Which begs the question: how does one come across those Halloween Sparrows? We know that players can pick up more Jackolytes by killing Hive, and now we know how to get Flight of Shadows, but it's still unclear where these Sparrows come from. We'll make sure to keep you posted, though.

What do you think of Xur's selection this weekend? What do you plan on buying?
