We have the early scoop on where to find the vendor Xur and what exotic armor and weapons he has available to Destiny players for the weekend of May 20th.

Although it was supposed to be a fairly run-of-the-mill week for Destiny, several circumstances have intervened to change that. First came the discovery of a game-breaking heavy ammo glitch that allowed players to acquire infinite amounts of heavy ammo at will. Then, our first firm detail regarding the next Destiny expansion surfaced, revealing that the fall release will be called Rise of Iron.

As far as the heavy ammo glitch is concerned, Bungie is on the case. It even decided to put Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner on hold until the developers can release a fix for the glitch/exploit.

The Rise of Iron leak, on the other hand, cannot be undone, and has likely put Destiny fans on a path towards an E3 2016 reveal. Like with last year's Taken King leaks, we wouldn't be surprised to see more and more details surface as we get closer to mid-June. If nothing else, though, we know that the leaked promo art is apparently real and the next expansion will reportedly feature a Fallen-themed raid.

In less earth-shattering news, Xur has once again returned to Destiny for the weekend. He has a handful of exotic items available, and those who want to boost their collection should seek him out post haste.

This week, players can find Xur next to The Speaker, on the balcony overlooking the last city of Earth. Head to the left after spawning into The Tower, follow the pathway down a few sets of long stairs, and continue through the open area towards the balcony. Xur should be in the very back of this area.

For a full rundown of Xur’s items and prices see the list below:

  • The Glasshouse (Titan Helmet) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Khepri's Sting (Hunter Gauntlets) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Sunbreakers (Warlock Gauntlets) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Universal Remote – 17 Strange Coins
  • Legacy Chest Piece Engram – 31 Strange Coins
  • Three of Coins – 7 Strange Coins

As far as exotic armor is concerned, Xur has The Glasshouse helmet for Titans, the Khepri's Sting gauntlets for Hunters, and the Sunbreakers gauntlets for Warlocks. All three have their own benefits, both in PvE and PvP, and are worth picking up if you don't already own them.

For his exotic weapon, Xur has the Universal Remote shotgun, which actually fits in the primary weapon slot. For those players who enjoy sniping and shotgunning, the Universal Remote offers that option, although it's not nearly as powerful as the average shotgun. Still, it's not a bad exotic weapon.

It's been quite the week for Destiny and things are likely to only pick up from here. Unfortunately, we're still left waiting for Xur to sell an exotic Year 2 engram, so players can boost their light level to 335 a little quicker.
