Since its launch, players have been flying up the Halo: Reach ranks, earning credits by the thousands. But for those of you who feel like they are making a serious dent in their earnings, I have bad news for you. Posted on the Halo Wiki, is a complete list of every rank gamers can attain along with the associated symbol and credit amount required.
Surprisingly, Halo: Reach borrows much of its ranking system from the Army, even though the infamous Master Chief is a Navy enlisted rank. After the standard Army ranks are grades created specifically for the Halo universe. Prepare yourself gamers, because you are going to be in for a long haul if you want to make the rank of Inheritor. We know this won’t discourage true Halo addicts, who are a hearty and dedicated folk.
Here’s your full list of the ranks:
- Recruit – 0 CR
- Private – 7,500 CR
- Corporal – 10,000 CR
- Corporal Grade 1 – 15,000 CR
- Sergeant – 20,000 CR
- Sergeant Grade 1 – 26,250 CR
- Sergeant Grade 2 – 32,500 CR
- Warrant Officer – 45,000 CR
- Warrant Officer Grade 1 – 78,000 CR
- Warrant Officer Grade 2 – 111,000 CR

I am sure that the higher ranks seem a bit intimidating, but hopefully, as Bungie keeps the daily challenges coming, there will be plenty of ways to continuously rank up. Both the daily and weekly challenges have been a great way for Reach players to partake in all of the robust play experiences the game has to offer. If Bungie notices that gamers have been neglecting a certain game mode, the challenges also allow them to entice players away from the more popular modes.
Like most gamers who love ranking up, learning that it is going to be a long trek to the top is a bit disappointing. Sure, the incentives to rank up are purely cosmetic changes to one’s own Noble Team member, but no matter what carrot you dangle in front of my face I am going to want all of it. Inheritor, here I come.

santa 4343 did you not notice that when you reached Lt. colonel the commando helmet said you had to be a commander to get it. so obviously there are more ranks than Lt. colonel grade 3
Right now, I am a Lt. Colonel Grade 3. There is no rank cap if you play Reach offline so you can check your actual rank offline like there is no rank cap at all. So, if there is no rank cap, I would be a Commander Grade 3.

i just hit noble whoop whoop and its like the rank bar doesent move at all when u start to get credits i hope bungie make some really hard challenges that give out more credits because 1.5 mill creds is gunna take time
Gigady your such a lier at this point in time it would be impossible to hit noble since it requires 7,000,000 credits and at this point in time halo reach has been out approximatly 60 days and the credit cap for each day is 60,000 credits while online and if your offline it is much much lower so doing the math 60 days multiplied by 60,000 it is only possible to have 3,600,000 if your hit the daily credit cap every single day which means you would still be a field marshall so unless your hacking offline your a ******* lier.
Currently im at warrant officer grade 2…i have my eyes on major,purely because i get the EVA helmet at the rank….GO REACH!!!

i managed to get to the rank of captain 3rd grade before i decided to go to a friends house and connect to live and it said i reached a credit limit and said i would lose all the credits i earned when i finished connecting the game showed me at rank of sergeant 2 grade and i lost all the armory items i purchased at first i was ok with it i figured that i could always get then back but when i returned home and started to play again i only got 50 Cr for completing a lvl on legendary with 8 of the skulls on i tryed playing other lvls but i only get 50 Cr as the game complete instead of the 3000-4000 that i got before going to my friends house i had my eye on major rank because i like the Eva helm sand Jun’s chest armour has this happend to anyone else?
It maybe a long time till I get to inheritor, but this game did so well with multiplayer I sometimes don’t even care about rank. Gears of war just lost the fight after this jem came out. Halo: Reach all the way
Raggnarrok this same thing happened to my friend because after the update that decided to make it even longer to rank. The only way to get credits like that again is to delete the save you have for reach and play off line again. And if you want to play online again you’ll have to download the update again and lose all the credit you got sorry about the bad news

the maximum points at the moment are 6.84 million on the 6th of jan 2011 so the highest rank would be MYTHIC so if anybody is noble they are lying. im almost brigadier, aiming for field marshal possibly hero/legend but i am starting to get a little tired doing the same thing, and i saw a hero the other day and just thought you must have no life cause i play on here more than is probably healthy.

This Game is a joke lol its not all that fun and way to easy, i dunno maybe I’m just to good, but i remember before all the update with new ranks came out i was a lt.colonel grade 3 in like 3 weeks lol and as of right now have 66 % of the armor completion and I barely even play, so saying your a looser or nerd is all wrong its just to easy, along with almost every game today, but halo isnt fun anymore like it used to be, i remember how intense it was back in the day to play halo 3, there were like 2.5 -3 million on a night when it was popular, reach is just over done and all you get to do is unlock armor that does nothing but change your look, they should have made it so it made your shield stronger or something, and for anyone who wants to play halo reach sometime or any online game add me up Darkprince0619 is my gamertag, and does anyone else have a high gamer score? mine is like 44000
