Now that Call of Duty: WW2 has officially been announced, gamers are looking forward to pre-ordering the upcoming shooter. And if an Amazon UK pre-order page is to be believed, it looks like PlayStation 4 gamers will once again receive all Call of Duty: WW2 DLCs earlier than PC and Xbox One.

As with Call of Duty titles in the past, it looks like Activision has made a deal with Sony to give 30 days early access of all Call of Duty: WW2 expansions to PlayStation 4. While the page has been taken down from Amazon, there’s little doubt the information is reliable.

It’s worth noting that PlayStation 4 gamers were also able to access the Modern Warfare Remastered campaign weeks ahead of Xbox One and PC gamers. It’s unknown if the same will apply to Call of Duty: WW2 when it releases, but gamers will undoubtedly be paying close attention to what’s coming.

call of duty ww2 campaign multiplayer leak

There’s also the new co-op mode in Call of Duty: WW2, which is set to provide an original story and experience for players, presumably outside the normal single-player campaign. Once again, with the Sony exclusivity agreement, it’ll be interesting to see if this mode is included as a timed exclusive for PlayStation 4 owners.

Of course, there’s always the possibility of a remastered version of Modern Warfare 2. After the success of Modern Warfare Remastered, gamers have banded together to request the same treatment for Modern Warfare 2. The PlayStation 4 exclusivity deal could also bleed over into a Modern Warfare 2 remaster.

We’ll note that while it’s expected that any DLC content will surely be released early on PlayStation 4, any other exclusivity is simply speculation until the information is officially released by Activision.

call of duty ww2 preorder

As for when gamers will be able to pre-order Call of Duty: WW2, a new leak on Reddit shows a GameStop store shipment document saying game materials will arrive on April 25th. This seems to point to a pre-order launch date of April 26th. Considering the upcoming reveal livestream set for April 26, it seems fitting that pre-orders would begin that day.

Call of Duty: WW2 is expected to release this fall on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
