In short, this exploit allows Call of Duty: Warzone players to earn a somewhat unfair advantage while playing as a squad. When one squadmate dies, they can use the spectator screen to see through the doorway, spotting the enemy on the other side. If the squad is communicating properly, then all they need to do is call out the position, and their teammates can secure the kill through the door.
This exact scenario occurs in Reddit user Csmith1875's recent clip. In it, he and his squad were able to score a relatively unexpected kill due to the spectator glitch. As expected, one squad member dies and is greeted with the spectator screen. However, the player was able to see directly through the doorway that was originally closed, as the door itself miraculously disappeared. From there, he was able to direct his squadmate to fire in a precise spot, securing the kill. With a bit of communication, this glitch can be done by any good Call of Duty: Warzone squad.
Though it's clear that the glitch wasn't entirely intentional in the video, it's likely that other players will be quick to try and replicate it for easy kills, especially if it can be used in Call of Duty: Warzone's new upcoming game modes. As of now, It's still unclear what specifically causes this glitch to appear. Only a few players reported experiencing similar issues, which is good news for those who want the battle royale title to remain fair for everyone.
On the other hand, anyone looking to take advantage of the glitch should be wary. Just recently, over 100,000 Call of Duty: Warzone players were banned from the game due to hacking. Though a bug is rather harmless in comparison, it wouldn't be the first time that players were punished for using "illegitimate" methods. And there's no doubt that other players will be quick to report anyone found using this bug. But regardless of how fans feel about the unintentional advantage, it goes to show that Warzone is always better when playing with a squad.
