One of the big surprises coming out of E3 2015 was the announcement that, at least for Black Ops 3, future Call of Duty DLC will be hitting PlayStation platforms first. For years, the shoe has been on the other foot, with Xbox enjoying timed-exclusive DLC content for Call of Duty.

Xbox timed-exclusivity has been the case for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and as it stands, it could possibly be the last Call of Duty game to feature such an offer for the Xbox brand. Due to this deal, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners have been able to enjoy the Supremacy DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for the last month or so, but PC, PS3, and PS4 gamers can download Supremacy starting today.

The Supremacy DLC expansion for Advanced Warfare is one of the meatier post-launch offerings for the game to date. It features four brand new multiplayer multiplayer maps, including a remake of the Modern Warfare 2 map Highrise, which is now known as Skyrise. Along with the multiplayer maps, Supremacy also features a brand new Exo Zombies level, which includes B-movie icon Bruce Campbell as a playable character.

With Supremacy now available across all platforms, the complete Advanced Warfare multiplayer experience (so far) is available to all. Supremacy marks the third out of four planned expansion packs for the game, preceded by Havoc and Ascendance, with the fourth DLC expansion for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to be called Reckoning. As of the time of this writing, its exact contents are unknown, but bet on it adding, at minimum, four new multiplayer maps as well as a new Exo Zombies level to bring the Exo Zombies story to a conclusion. If Activision sticks to their release pattern, expect Reckoning to hit Xbox platforms in late July or early August, and launch on PC and PlayStation platforms in September.

In the meantime, PC and PlayStation gamers that are looking to tackle the new Exo Zombies easter egg should check out our Supremacy Exo Zombies easter egg guide for step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish that feat.

Even though sales have been down compared to previous iterations of the game, Advanced Warfare was still the best-selling game of 2014. Sony securing timed-exclusivity rights to the DLC expansions coming for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is huge, and should serve to only further cement Sony's current healthy relationship with Activision. Between Destiny and Call of Duty, Sony is going a long way to make the PlayStation 4 seem like the console for FPS gamers.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is currently available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The Supremacy DLC expansion pack for the game is now available for users across all platforms.
