Boba Fett Hunts You In Force Unleashed 2

Darth Vader has resorted to calling in the big guns to look for Bendak Starkiller in Force Unleashed 2. That’s right, the galaxy’s most infamous and feared bounty hunter, Boba Fett, will be hunting you.

Just the thought of Fett on your tail likely brings a sense of dismay and terror to most, but as a jedi trained under Vader Starkiller shouldn’t be too much of a problem… maybe. Fett, like any good hunter, knows that prey isn’t easily acquired without bait, so rather than go directly after Starkiller he decides to kidnap love interest Juno Eclipse in an attempt to lure Starkiller out of hiding. A smart move obviously, Fett will still need a lot of help if he intends on capturing an incredibly powerful jedi.

There seems to be a few other resources that Fett has at his disposal and they look quite formidable! Fett presence is a “small, but pivotal” role in the title according to LucasArts writer Haden Blackman.

I enjoy the expansion of the Star Wars universe via video games. Being able to interact with the parts of the story that we’ve only dreamed about creates a very high draw for fans. The first Force Unleashed game was pretty decent, but the second looks much more interesting in terms of story and gameplay.

I think the only thing that I really mind about the Star Wars universe is the heavy use of clones. Yeah, I understand that clones were a very pivotal tool in the Old Republic, but come on, I’m sure there were other things that were more interesting back in that time to use as a story tool.

All that aside, I’m looking forward to what Boba Fett’s appearance will add to Force Unleashed 2.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 will be smashing starships, storm troopers, and other space stuff on October 26, 2010 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, and DS.

  1. Guh, while I can respect Boba’s inclusion as a way of driving sales… I wish they’d be a bit more original with the game.

  2. I really think the main high point of the first game was the story, how it connected with episodes 3 and 4. The actual gameplay was all well and good, but nothing near as spectacular as I’d hoped. I really hope they come up with some better level design and combat.

  3. Yeah, the story is what made the first one. Gameplay reminded me of Web of Shadows honestly, which wasn’t amazing. But again, the stories with this one and the first one are so much cooler than the new movies IMO.

  4. In Soviet Russia, YOU hunt Bobba-Fett!
