It's time to play catch-up on a few key games that are releasing later this year and share some fun newsbits for some of our recent favorites. Release Date Frenzy

Deadpool Game Trailer

Quite a few upcoming titles were locked down with release dates:

  • Deadpool (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) by High Moon Studios releases June 25, 2013
  • Pikmin 3 (Wii U) by Nintendo releases August 4, 2013
  • Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded (PC, Mac, Linux) releases this June.

Jak and Daxter Get Mobile

The Jak and Daxter Collection, an HD remake of Naughty Dog's classics, released in February and in June it'll also be available for the PS Vita for $29.99.

The collection includes Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak and the mobile version will ship with obligatory touch-based applications of certain mini games throughout the collection.

Minecraft Mario Kart

What happens when you take the most recognizable Karting game franchise ever and combine it with the most popular indie sandbox game in recent years? We get Minecart 64.

It's not the most fast-paced, but it's still another genius modset for Minecraft. One day when our ideal Minecraft 2 comes out, built on a better game engine, players will be able to build any other game within it and they'll run just as smooth as intended.

Blood Dragon Music

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon releases for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next week bringing retro-futuristic adult action to gamers and fans of '80s sci-fi films, but for now, enjoy some time-appropriate music and trading cards. Ubisoft shared the Blood Dragon trading cards on G+ and have also released the game's official soundtrack, by none other than the band called Power Glove. It's almost too good to be true.
