While details are still slim regarding Battlefield 3‘s final piece of downloadable content, appropriately titled End Game, a new image revealed during Electronic Arts‘ Summer Showcase has tipped us off to one of the DLC’s new vehicular additions. In the past, vehicle-based combat in DICE‘s warzones has been relegated to tanks, armored vehicles, and a whole slew of jets, planes, and choppers, but End Game will mark the first time players will get behind the handlebars of a motorcycle.
The motorcycle reveal, as we mentioned before, comes by way of a promotional image for End Game, which is set to release some time in March of 2013. First up, however, is Armored Kill, the new tank-heavy DLC that promises to be a huge counterpoint to the Close Quarters expansion that has been rocking the Battlefield 3 multiplayer recently.
There are no details about said motorcycles, only that they will be lethal and fast. The image also implies that players will not only be able to fit two to a cycle but will be able to fire whilst maneuvering them, but that has yet to be confirmed.
In addition to the aforementioned two-wheel death machines, End Game is said to also feature new maps, vehicles, and more, but DICE is keeping pretty tight lipped as far as details go. Gamers should expect that once Armored Kill hits in September that more information, hopefully in regards to these awesome motorcycles, will start to flood in.
For now, players can sleep easy knowing that DICE isn’t about to rest on their laurels and coast to the finish line, but plan to push the limits of content until the bitter end of Battlefield 3‘s post-game content cycle. And, after that, they plan to continue to support the hugely popular multiplayer, even as they begin work on the inevitable Battlefield 4, which you can get early hands-on with if you pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
What do you think about the addition of motorcycles to Battlefield 3 in End Game? What other awesome vehicles would you like to see DICE put into the final DLC?

Those guys in the image are about to tip over…
Hell yeah!
Though I think they should put motorcycles in Armored Kill to complement the ATVs, but I suppose they want to save some stuff for Aftermath and End Game.
Well, to be honest, I’m more intrigued about that F-15 in the background than I am about the motorcycles.
Can they patch it to put GM in the other maps? Pls and thank you!
Bad-assery right here.
Wow, let me get this straight, Gamerant just now found out about the motorcycles? I thought this was old news, I knew they were going to be in it and was quite sure everyone else knew. Obviously I was wrong, Gamerant didn’t know. I just want say this is not news, if you want to post something about the game, post something we don’t already know. Waste of my time.
Bc so much of your time was wasted. I didn’t know, so get a life dude it’s not all about u
Sweet
Motorcycles in End Game? O REALLY? :OO I thought everyone who saw the cover when it first got released saw that it has a motorcycle in its cover. -_- What would be news is if they said if the driver could actually use one free arm to hold a pistol and shoot >.<
Didn’t anyone play BF 1942 expansions, there where motorcycles with sidecars. So it won’t be a first for DICE

Motorcycles are good but dinosaurs and motorcycles are better …just saying thats all.
Add attack dog as a replacement for a gadget. Imagine an attack dog sprinting towards you realizing last minute that it was only a distraction by the enemy. Attack dog does not kill the enemy, like some hell ridden attack dogs which we are familiar with, but only weakens and distracts the enemy in order for a straight out attack. Dog only attacks enemy designated by player and runs along side otherwise.
A train with an oblong course throughout the battlefield with a scout helicopter spawn point on one of the cars along side heavily armed canons. Able to control the train or not???
More natural activity. Lightning storms with heavy rain and a very gloomy setting so we can fully utilize our stealth and IR vision.
