One of the many perks that comes with playing games on the PC is the ability to run it at the best settings possible. This means seeing the game perform at its best with top tier visuals and solid frame rates. The trick, however, is having the right hardware to make playing on Ultra settings a reality. Some are capable of doing so, while others have to settle for the recommended, which usually isn't a bad thing.

That said, even if hitting the Ultra tier wasn't the goal, it's still nice to know where one's PC stands compared to what the game recommends. It's in situations like that when seeing the PC specs early comes in handy, giving people time to prepare and decide if PC is the best option.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be one of the upcoming games that will have many players comparing the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions, if only because the game promises high quality visuals. As of now, we know that the game will run at 1080p on the PS4, while the Xbox One and PC are still unknown. However, if today's newly revealed PC specs are any indication, Arkham Knight should be able to run at a high level on adequately prepared gaming rigs.

Additionally, PC players shouldn't expect to go into Rocksteady's newest game with outdated hardware and still enjoy themselves. Batman: Arkham Knight looks to be pretty demanding on the platform, which, again, is part of why getting the PC specs before launch is helpful.

It has yet to be explained why the hard drive space requirement increases between the Minimum and Recommended specs, but it's possible that it has something to do with the game's visuals on higher settings. Perhaps Rocksteady will offer some insight into this in the coming weeks, alongside the upcoming trailer.

Batman: Arkham Knight, after getting delayed again, will finally launch on June 23, 2015 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Unlike the console versions, however, the PC version will not have a physical retail release.
