It’s an exciting time for gamers and Assassin’s Creed fans especially. Not only has an enormous pile of high profile, high quality games released over the last few weeks, but it has done so right before we enter the holidays where we all hope to find the time to play that which we love. Included among this year’s releases is of course, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, a game that concludes the story of fan-favorite character Ezio Auditore da Firenze and answers a lot of the mysteries of the series.
To celebrate this important release in Ubisoft’s flagship franchise and as we anticipate the already-confirmed Assassin’s Creed (3?) game coming next fall, we wanted to share a little something to get you thinking about the holidays: A signed copy of Assassin’s Creed Revelations!
Thanks to our friends at Blockbuster, we have developer signed copies of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations for both PS3 and Xbox 360, to celebrate the release of one of the best stories told in video games this year and to promote Blockbuster’s Combo Pass Promotion.

The promotion, just extended through December, gives a free month “Combo Pass” of unlimited games and movie rentals to new customers when they purchase any of the following games: Skyrim, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, Batman: Arkham City and Gears of War 3. While the free month is only good for new customers, past and current Blockbuster “Combo Pass” members are given a $5 gift card upon their purchase.

We don’t yet know if this is the long-awaited Assassin’s Creed 3 but we do have our ideas for what we want from the game.
Now, we want YOUR ideas.
If you could change or add one new feature, gameplay mechanic, weapon or anything to the next Assassin’s Creed installment, what would it be?

BUTTS!
Well, since we’re probably dealing with Desmond directly in the next game, and thus it’ll be set in modern times, I think there’s a ton of weapons and set pieces that would be viable for this game that weren’t viable in any of the Assassin’s Creed releases before now. Of course there are a lot of ideas there, both in terms of weapons and tools for Desmond — sniper rifles of course, night vision goggles, poison gas — and obstacles, like helicopters, satellite surveillance, high-tech vault doors, skyscrapers and so forth.
But what I’d really like to see is a set piece that’s possible today that wouldn’t be possible before. And one that leaps to mind right now is a train. Particularly a high-speed train. I.E., there’s something on a train that Desmond has to steal, and he has to get onto the train (either by riding near it and jumping over to it, or by getting on at a station, or jumping onto it from an overpass. Maybe have all three be options from which the player can choose, and each one has its own specific advantages and disadvantages. Like, getting on at the station makes you more likely to be spotted by Templars right off the bat, but jumping onto the train, in addition to being more dangerous, also causes unavoidable damage, or you drop some of your equipment when you jump on, for example. Something like that, anyway.
And PS3 is my console of choice.
I’d really love to see the next Assassin’s Creed game take place in modern times. Throw in some cool, James Bond styled gadgets for the Assassin gear, but keep some of the obvious things such as the hidden blades.
The only difficult part of this is… how would Desmond carry around a sword with him every where he goes? I haven’t quiet figured it out yet, but I’m not a developer for Assassin’s Creed. I also haven’t played Assassin’s Creed: Revelations yet, so if you feel like sharing… I’m all for an Xbox 360 copy :3
@AJ Edwards — I’m thinking it would work something like Sulu’s sword in Star Trek.

When are you announcing winners?
I Would really love to See The next AC in a much more detailed open city . Will also love to see more action missions , a few explosive and some street chases who would seem really fun . I would like to see the next AC maybe in a Egypt in the 18th century in the massive desert and the villages or Maybe The Ancient Greece . a lot of people shared that opinion what i think is a really good idea .
