Assassin's Creed Revelations single player campaign is unfortunately not playable at this year's E3, but fans are still being treated with media showcasing the game and what's in store for them this Fall when it's released. Three different trailers have been released for Assassin's Creed Revelations, including the CG trailer that was hinted at in the pre-E3 teaser trailer Ubisoft released. The other two trailers showcase gameplay and the black room.

The CG trailer prefaces the game, showing Ezio's journey to Masyaf and a confrontation he has when he arrives there. Ezio goes to Masyaf in search of a library where he believes that Altair left information about the First Civilization and his time with the Apple of Eden.

The second trailer shows off a mission about halfway through the game. Ezio is chasing down a Templar in possession of one of the keys to the library while running from the Janissaries. In order to bar Ezio's escape the Janissaries string up a massive chain to prevent boats from leaving the harbor, and set up several boats to defend against any attempt Ezio might make to leave.

At the end of the gameplay trailer a doorway is shown shining a glowing white light. This portal of sorts is an entryway into the black room of the animus where Desmond will have to repair his shattered mind. The final trailer shows off this area of the game as well spoilers from the ending of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

This section of the game looks like it will focus heavily on platforming and may be an area where Revelations includes the puzzles that were present in both Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood.

When the animus loads up, if you look at the sources there's a large list of dates that would easily fall in Desmond's life and likely represent important memories from his life. More importantly, one of these entries has 16 listed as the source, possibly confirming that subject 16 will be making another appearance in this game, but possibly just through a flashback of some kind. The date for that particular entry is August 8, 2012.

Are you looking forward to exploring the black room in Assassin's Creed Revelations?

Assassin's Creed Revelations will be bringing Desmond back to his senses November 15, 2011, on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
