Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery, the game available on the Nintendo DS is coming out for the iTouch/iPhone and it found its way onto the Apple apps store a little bit early. Well, I supposed it’s actually late as it was expected to come out alongside the full console version of Assassin’s Creed 2 in November.
The folks at Touch Arcade picked up on this and bought it before it was taken down. They graciously took some footage of it and you can see what the game is like after the jump.
Ubisoft informed Touch Arcade that this version of the game that was made available is incomplete and may include bugs. It also apparently was available to purchase for the wrong retail price.
How does an unfinished version of the game get put onto the the app store with a retail price anyway?

Otherwise though, after watching that, I can confidently say I never want to play a game like that on a touchscreen device that has absolutely no other controls. The DS I can understand, but the iPhone, where a significant portion of the screen is taken up with your fingers… no thanks.
The first Assassin’s Creed for the iPhone was so terrible – I can’t believe this one would be much better. These handheld versions miss out on everything that makes the other game intriguing.
why play this when u can play real thing?
waste of time & Money as well, guys wait for full version ,
