Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Wedding Season event has officially begun, and it centers around helping Reese and Cyrus celebrate their anniversary. This is done by organizing daily photo shoots of the alpacas on Harv's Island, and Reese will reward players with Heart Crystals for their work. However, not all fans will know exactly what these ACNH Heart Crystals are for, and indeed this guide is written with those players in mind.
To put things simply, Heart Crystals in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are a currency that can be given to Cyrus in exchange for Wedding Season items. Initially, players will only be able to use their Heart Crystals to purchase five of these special items, but Cyrus's inventory will expand as more daily photo shoots are completed. One final thing to say about Heart Crystals in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, is that they cannot be used to obtain absolutely every item connected to this seasonal event. Specifically, the Reese & Cyrus Photo Plate, Wedding Fence, and Wedding Wand are rewards for completing six or seven daily photo shoots, and players will thus receive them as they work to earn Heart Crystals.
