Things are about to get even better for Alien fans. No, it's not because Prometheus releases in just over a week, but because SEGA has revealed the Aliens: Colonial Marines Collector's Edition!

The CE for Aliens: Colonial Marines will retail at $99.99 USD and features a multitude of content. The most impressive is the resin Powerloader figurine, showcasing the iconic vehicle from Jim Cameron's Aliens. The Powerloader will come in a box that resembles a Xenomorph Hive. Also included is a USCM dossier, so gamers can pretend they're a certified Colonial Marine! The dossier includes a mission brief, USS Sephora Schematic, Recruitment Card, LV-426 Recon Photo, USCM Iron-on Badges and a USCM Graduation Certificate.

In terms of in-game content, players can look forward to an exclusive USCM Academy Firing Range level and two multiplayer weapons: the Sonic Electronic Ball Breakers and Phase Plasma Rifle. Players will also have access to Ripley's flamethrower in multiplayer, four skins that recreate characters from the film (Private Hudson, Corporal Hicks, Private Drake and Sergeant Apone) and extra customization options for the marines. The Collector's Edition certainly contains more content than what was previously revealed, even if it missing the best component of all special editions: an official soundtrack.

Those who pre-order Aliens: Colonial Marines will receive some of the Collector's Edition content as a bonus -- namely, the multiplayer skins, customization options and Ripley's flamethrower. Unfortunately, the pre-order bonuses are exclusive to GameStop, though thankfully the Collector's Edition isn't retailer exclusive.

Gearbox Software's Randy Pitchford has been talking up the Wii U quite a lot recently, making it a bit strange that the Collector's Edition will only appear on the Xbox 360 and PS3 (sorry PC owners!). This could be because Nintendo has kept most Wii U details under wraps. With the game delayed to 2013 -- well after the release of Nintendo's console -- we'll probably hear more about Aliens: Colonial Marines come E3, when Nintendo properly unveils the Wii successor.

Aliens: Colonial Marines releases February 12th, 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, with a Wii U version in development.
