2011 Black Friday Video Game Sales

It’s that time of year again, Ranters. The magical corporate holiday after Thanksgiving and before Christmas known as Black Friday is nearly upon us. While the auspicious day isn’t until November 25, several sales fliers have already begun to show up online. Black Friday falls in the busiest release month of the year for games. Indeed, this year is no exception. As such, many of your favorites and hotly anticipated titles are up for grabs for prices that are nothing short of insane.

Check out the Black Friday deals from four of the biggest games retailers around: Best Buy, Kmart, Walmart, GameStop

Best Buy’s list of Black Friday deals leaked early, found its way online, and was a revelation for anyone thinking about buying an Assassin’s Creed game this week. Assassin’s Creed Revelations releases this week, but those of you patiently stalking Ezio’s next adventure may want to consider holding off on a purchase. The highlights of the advert is Assassin’s Creed Revelations for the incredible price of $34.99. The Best Buy deal also lists several other new/recent releases for $29.99.

But wait…that’s not all! For the first time ever, Best Buy will offer free shipping on everything, and many of the Black Friday deals will be available online this year.

  1. Walmart has the best, I’ve been black Friday and my goodness its crazy. I typically have the games I want before then so I go for movies and what not. Still nice knowing I paid more because I’m too impatient to wait a month or so.

  2. I was unaware that Kinect Sports Season 2 was available on PS3.

    • Whoops. I corrected that.

  3. Man, it’s all about Cyber Monday!

  4. Us Canadians need to set up someone down there to group buy for us.

    I’d take another 250gb 360 bundle for $200.

  5. Wow and yet Gamestop is still over-charging when compared to other stores. Seriously Modern Warfare 2 for $35 and Blops for $35 wow terrible deals. Every other deal listed on here seems well worth it especially the Metal Gear Solid Collection =).

  6. omg sonic generations for 30 bucks? count me in to see some glorifying graphics with the blue blur! :D

im surprised walmart is going to sell the LE of LoZ: skyward sword for about 10-20 dollars less :O oh well i preordered my copy on gamestop anyway :P

and super street fighter 4: arcade edition for 20 dollars? i would love to buy that too… if i wasnt buying generations :P

  7. Gamestop blows, everyone should stop shopping there. They rip people off bad there!

    • You just need to know how to shop there.. I’ve gotten 4 big titles completely free before.

  8. All these new games for 29.99 and none of them are Saints Row the Third. WTF. I already got Madden 12, Rage, BF3, Uncharted 3, and Skyrim this fall. SR3 is the only one I need.
