Spike T.V. has launched their website for the 2009 Video Game Awards. The site promises that the award show will deliver on exclusive gaming premiers and talent, as well as revealing the winning games.
This year’s awards span 28 different categories including the coveted Game of the Year, Best Soundtrack and Best Cast. Spike T.V.’s website has been set up so that gamers can access the Vote Now page to cast their votes for winners in each category.

The award show, like MTV’s VMA’s, has become a staple of Spike T.V. programming. Last year’s guest included the likes of Megan Fox, Mike Tyson and Jack Black. The show honors the creative talent behind many of the games we enjoy today, but also manages to parody the concept of award shows in general.
The 2009 Video Game Awards will air on Spike T.V. on December 12 at 8 p.m. Will you cheering or razzing the show?
